It is the primary mission of Land Conservancy of Elkins Park, Inc. has been to rescue and restore The Elkins Estate to its Gilded-Age grandeur. Through careful preservation and renovation methods, we are saving the exquisite architectural features and adapting the two Trumbauer mansions and four additional historic outbuildings for re-use as a wedding and special occasion venue, group retreat, corporate workshop and conference center, and forum for local and regional arts, music and theater groups to hold performances and concerts. Our doors are open for public events for the first time in the property's unique history, and we are proud of its impact on the community!
This endeavor is a labor of love; however, it is also a long and expensive process. Your donations will allow us to provide the stewardship that will allow the Estate to thrive and ensure its protection and presence for decades to come. Land Conservancy is a Pennsylvania non-profit with 501(c)3 status; therefore, your donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent the law will allow.
