The Estate is located on Ashbourne Road between Old York Road and Washington Lane. The homes on Ashbourne Road were re-numbered approximately 18 months ago, and many mapping services have not been updated to reflect the change.
From York Road (PA-263) southbound, which merges directly into Route 611 to become Old York Road southbound, make a right onto Ashbourne Road. The Elkins Estate is on the left, just past Juniper Street. The main entrance is the first driveway on the left past Juniper Street.
Southbound—Make a left onto Ashbourne Road. The Elkins Estate is on the right just past the U.S. Post Office and Penrose Avenue. The second driveway is the main entrance to Elstowe Manor.
Northbound—Make a right onto Ashbourne Road, then follow the directions immediately above.
Proceed on Essington Avenue toward S 70th Street, stay straight to go onto Passyunk Avenue. Merge onto I-76 West (ramp on left). Keep right for US-1 N/Roosevelt Expressway via Exit 340B toward Roosevelt Boulevard. Take the exit toward PA-611/Broad Street. Stay straight to go onto St. Luke Street. Turn left onto PA-611/N. Broad Street. Turn slight right onto PA-611/Old York Road. Turn left onto Ashbourne Road. The Elkins Estate is on the left, just past Juniper Street. The main entrance is the first driveway on the left past Juniper Street.
Proceed north on N. Christopher Columbus Boulevard (0.6 miles) toward Race Street. Turn left onto Spring Garden Street (0.5) miles. Turn right onto N. 5th Street (6.6 miles). Turn left onto W. Cheltenham Avenue (0.5 miles). Keep right at the fork to continue on W. Cheltenham Avenue (0.2) miles). Turn right onto Old York Road (PA-611 North) (0.7 miles). Turn left onto Ashbourne Road (0.3 miles). The Elkins Estate is on the left, just past Juniper Street.
Take exit 339 to PA 309 South (5.5 miles). Turn slight left onto W. Cheltenham Avenue (0.3 miles). Turn left onto Washington Lane (0.6 miles), and follow the directions from Washington Lane northbound.
From I-95 N, take the I-476 N exit, Exit 7, toward Plymouth Meeting. Merge onto I-476 North via the left exit. Merge onto I-276 East/Pennsylvania Turnpike via Exit 20 toward New Jersey. Follow the above directions from the PA Turnpike.
From I-95 South/ New Jersey Turnpike South, keep right to take the New Jersey Turnpike South toward exit 14-14C/Cars/Trucks-Buses. Take Exit 6 toward I-276/PA Turnpike/US-130/Florence. Merge onto the New Jersey Turnpike Extension crossing into Pennsylvania. The New Jersey Turnpike becomes I-276 W/Pennsylvania Turnpike (westbound toward Harrisburg); follow the directions from the PA Turnpike above.
